Christmas and New Year

During the Christmas Season, up until Christmas Eve, we will offer our a la carte, prix fixe and tasting menus at the same hours as during the rest of the year.

From Christmas Eve until New Year’s Day we will offer a fixed price 3 course menu with a choice of 4 dishes for each course, drawing on the flavours, scents and spices that conjure the warmth of Christmas, along with a tasting menu.

A separate menu for larger groups will be available as well. 

On New Year’s Eve we will offer only a special tasting menu.

Do come and enjoy our relaxing ambience, lights soft, candles glowing, logs burning.

Parsnip soup, coconut, lime
Confit duck leg, Jerusalem artichoke, hazelnut jus tranché
Wild Scottish smoked salmon, dill, olive oil jam
Beetroot, chicory, oregano and toasted sunflower seed salad, clementine vinaigrette

Main Courses

Roast free range, organic Suffolk bronze turkey, confit leg rillettes, fondant potatoes, sprout tops and chestnuts, light jus
Braised Wiltshire beef “Bourguignon”, Alsace bacon, baby onions, mashed potato, Swiss chard
Wild hake, Amandine potatoes, winter chanterelles, roast chestnut sauce
Truffled gnocchi, roast salsify, candied pecans, Old Winchester cheddar
