Olga Paliy was born in the Ukraine, studying at Vilkonsky Music School and Revutsky Music College in Chernigov with Natalya Bezpalova and Tatyana Iskhakova. In 2001, she entered the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kiev under the supervision of Professor Valery Kozlov and in 2004 was selected for a Presidential Scholarship. In 2006 Olga graduated with the highest honour and won a scholarship to the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where she was a student of Professor Norma Fisher. Thanks to the generous support of the Leverhulme Trust, Stanley Picker Trust and Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, Olga completed her Postgraduate studies in Piano Performance in 2009 and MMus course in 2011, both with Distinction.
